Cá na Serra came to life as a collaborative vision, bringing together architect Luís Perreira Miguel and interior designers Cathérine Hanssens and Michaël Severs. Minimalistic in its approach, Cá na Serra embraces simplicity and purity of form. The designers created spaces that are simple, honest, and sensitive to the natural surroundings.

Light and shadow play an integral role in the design, as they dance upon the surfaces, creating a captivating play. The architecture emphasizes the natural surroundings, allowing the views to take center stage, framing the landscape like living artworks that evolve with the changing light and seasons.
